So, Nick Cannon just bought his beloved a million dollar mansion in Aspen Colorado Christmas of 2008. I found myself needing to delve deeper in love planet connections and see just what it is that makes 28-year old Nick absolutely smitten with the almost 39 year-old singer. Besides the ego stroke to his man hood with the age difference, and that whole “younger man, older woman” craze happening everywhere lately, what are the love planets showing us about their relationship?

Planetary Love Aspects• Mariah’s natal Venus at 20 degrees of Aries is trine Nick’s progressed Mars at 17 degrees of Sagittarius but they are now slowly separating.
• Mariah’s progressed Moon at 6 Taurus is trine Nick’s natal Venus at 3 degrees of Virgo but is separating.
• Mariah’s Progressed Venus at 8 Gemini is trine Nicks progressed Venus at 7 Libra. (this is temporary and will pass soon)
• Mariah’s progressed Mars at 11 Gemini is trine Nick’s progressed Venus at 7 Libra but again is slowly separating.
• Nick’s Natal Sun at 14 Libra is trine Mariah’s progressed Mars at 11 Gemini, and will be trine her progressed Venus was trine her progressed Venus at 8 Gemini but is separating slowly.
• Nick’s natal Venus at 3 degrees of Virgo had an exact trine with Mariah’s progressed Moon at 6 Taurus but is now passing
• Their most durable and strongest bond: Mariah’s natal Moon at 22 Scorpio is conjunct Nicks Mars at 26 Scorpio.

Judging by this couple’s durable natal moon and mars conjunction they have a true bond. The progressed trines between their natal love planets are abundant and are giving them that deep sexual, spiritual, and companionship connection. Because many of the trines are temporarily caused by the progressed planets coming in 120 degrees of the other person’s natal love planet, once the planets pass each other, and start to separate within a few years, the love may fizzle.
